Spawn Rapers started off as a small group of friends who all played Ghost Recon. As we improved, we attracted interest from the GR community, and the clan grew fairly rapidly. Eventually the clan moved onto other games such as Command and Conquer 3 and Call of Duty 4. We then followed to win several 2v2 leagues in C&C3 and branched out into even more games. At the moment we mainly play first person shooters (CS:S, TF2, CoD, L4D) and DotA-style games (LoL, HoN).

Despite our name, we are a friendly community of gamers who value fair play and the fun of gaming above all else. Saying that, we do promote individual and team-based talent, and normally win the majority of our games.

Going back and forth between different management systems and designs, version 3 of the site is now up. After switching to Joomla, i realised despite all the features, the hassle of integrating and achieving what we wanted was too greater task. For version 3, we've got back to our roots for a plain HTML/CSS layout, which i hope we will be slowly adding features to. Some of these features will include integrated forum support, shoutboxes, live feeds etc.

We apologise if some features on the site aren't working or are missing, it will take us several weeks to get everything streamlined and working as it should. If you do notice something that you believe we've missed, head down to the Forums and let us know.

Team SR has recently added 'League of Legends' and 'Heroes of Newerth' to our gaming circle. We're a mixture of hardened DotA warriors and keen newbies who can't wait to learn, so if you're interested in joining a friendly, fun community, get in touch with one of our members. Currently, we're a lot more active on HoN (we like denying :]), however we do still ocassionally play LoL and would be happy to help new members learn LoL, as its generally a much nicer learning curve.
